Maya Half Tights in Algae
Maya Half Tights in Algae
There's a lot going on with these special half tights, so we'll let the people at District Vision tell you themselves:
"This limited-edition capsule was designed in collaboration with the Sri Chinmoy Centre, and features original artwork by both Sri Chinmoy and Filip Pagowski.
The Indian mystic and spiritual teacher Sri Chinmoy spent 20 years studying at the Sri Aurobindo ashram in Pondicherry before moving to New York City in the mid 1960s, at the height of an influx of Eastern philosophy across the United States. He had been exposed to both meditation and athletics from childhood, and it is arguably his teachings at the intersection of these two practices that will have the most profound impact for generations to come.
For Chinmoy, a marathon was an opportunity and a method to overcome the confines of the ego tunnel. He saw the thresholds of human potential as the most fertile soil for growth and, perhaps, self-transcendence. His legacy is carried on by innumerable devotees worldwide, with various races bearing his name, including the longest footrace in the world, the 'Self-Transcendence 3100 Mile Race', held around a single half-mile city block in Jamaica, Queens every summer for 52 days."
Couldn't have said it better ourselves. These half tights feature the same high-performance, supportive and stylish details that you can expect of all District Vision products.
