Why create a house brand? Self obsession? Massive ego? Overcooked confidence? These might all apply, but we really wanted to create an assortment of styles that spoke to our distinct perspective on where design and the outdoors meet.
Performance is important to us. We really like to use our stuff, hard. But performance doesn't just pertain to ultralight fabrics and four-way stretch—it means a lack of superfluous details and an unwavering emphasis on cut and finish. Something that you don't get sick of.
With WT:01, we partnered with our bud Ace Kieffer to create things that offered something new. A concise vision with just enough versatility. So let's get into it.
YORGI SOLOTEX® SERIES
Named after our favorite villain, the Yorgi jacket and pants are made with Solotex® softshell fabric from Japan. Solotex is known for its smooth stretch and comfortable handfeel—we've also given each piece a light DWR coating for added weather-resistance. We live in a wet place, after all.
IGGY SHIRTS
Our new Iggy shirt comes in two colors, Twilight and Snowmelt, and is constructed from a dense and stretchy Japanese mesh. This fabric really needs to be felt to be properly understood—it's immensely comfortable without being too heavy. We've really never felt anything quite like it!
The Iggy features bold contrasting overlock stitching (in a pattern that emulates the Yorgi jacket) and a small Windthrow logo at the chest. Its cropped fit and slightly longer arms make it perfect for cycling, climbing around, running and general everyday life. It's so easy to wear nearly every day and feels perfect in almost all conditions. This has been a shop favorite since we got our first samples.
