Earth\Studies, who also hails from the Pacific Northwest, has been a staple of Windthrow since we opened our doors. So, it's only natural that we worked together on four reinterpretations of classic E/S styles. Our collaborative Field Pant, Field Shorts, Crew Cap and Tee were designed with movement in mind and feature unique high-contrast details and graphic elements.

This collaboration marks the first occasion where Earth\Studies (known primarily for garments made from cotton and other natural fibers) has used synthetic fabrics—the pants, shorts and hat are constructed from an Indian nylon/cotton blend. We interpreted this as a future/tradition hybrid. A mix of natural and synthetic. Future and past. We shot an editorial that felt like getting sucked into a computer, with 3D scans of each collaborative garment.
